Fused Halloween Night Light

Project Steps:
- Cut clear glass into a rectangle 3 1/2” x 5 1/2”. Clean with alcohol or dish soap and water. Dry with lint free cloth or paper towel.

Mix approximately 1 teaspoon of each frit color in a small container.

Cover the entire surface of the clear glass rectangle with fuser’s glue. Tip: Use clear Elmer's glue when glass crafting with children.

Sprinkle frit mixture to cover the clear glass rectangle and gently tap excess frit off.

Break the black rick rack into 2 - 3” pieces.

Place precut glass shapes on top of the frit covered glass as shown.

Cut a piece of Thin Fire fusing paper 1/2” bigger than the project.

Layer Thin Fire and project on a kiln shelf and fire to a contour fuse.

Prepare slumping mold with 2 - 3 coats of Primo Primer kiln wash drying between coats.

Place prepared mold on kiln posts in kiln. Carefully balance the contour fired project on the slumping mold and slump fuse.

Assemble night light kit. Bend the attachment metal to the curve of the slumped project and glue with E6000 adhesive glue.
